About

This is a labor of love.

I started using the Travelgirl name and reserved the domain name Travelgirl.com – back in the 90s. Travelgirl started out as interviews with women about travel that transformed their lives, led them to leave bad jobs and bad relationships, start businesses or nonprofit organizations, or think differently about themselves.

Over the years, I had new projects, new clients, new things happening in my life and woefully neglected the original site.

Travelgirl.com has gone through numerous redesigns and incarnations. Today, it stands for our journeys as women – the external journeys that transform us, the internal transformations we navigate over the years. Check out @travelgirlsite on Twitter and the Tumblr blog that I update more frequently.

By the way…I’m Aliza Sherman. You can read more about me here.

If you’d like to share your story, I’d love to consider it for publication on this blog.
